Why does the EMSCULPT NEO treatment plan change between body areas?

Abdomen, flanks, glutes and limbs have different treatment targets. The area changes the plan.

Treating an abdomen and treating glutes are not the same assignment. The applicator, treatment mode and desired outcome should match the area.

Abdomen and flanks

Abdominal contouring research has measured muscle and subcutaneous-fat changes. Flank research examines the lateral abdomen, with its own applicator positioning and MRI measurements. A result at the front of the abdomen should not be copied onto the flank as though it were the same study.

Glutes

The gluteal evidence focuses on muscle and buttock contour. BTL's teaching distinguishes the gluteal programme from a general abdominal fat-reduction story. Reducing fat is not automatically the objective in every area, and the chosen treatment mode matters.

Arms and thighs

Upper-arm, inner-thigh and outer-thigh studies describe different sites and measurement methods. A local MRI finding should remain attached to that site. It does not establish a surgical lift or a whole-body result.

Functional goals

If the goal concerns movement or function, the assessment and measurement should reflect that. Functional-wellness research and body-contouring studies should not be treated as one identical protocol.

What does a personalised plan clarify?

The useful starting points are the area, the goal and the appropriate method of review. The clinician can explain the relevant applicator and programme, expected sensation and the outcomes that can realistically be assessed.
